Bursa, the first Ottoman capital, lies at the foot of Uludağ, and the city's early mosques, tombs and covered markets still stand at its centre. A cable car climbs from the edge of town onto the mountain, which is green in summer and under snow in winter. We run private days that combine the old city with the mountain, and provide guides for longer stays.
